Obituary

Our Hearts were saddened on Thursday, June 13, 2019, by the passing of our loved one, Mr. Wilson Clary Jr. is affectionately known as "Bouke and Gummy"

Mr. Wilson Clary Jr. of 29449 Lobbs Shop Rd. Waverly, VA 23890, was called home to eternal rest and peace at Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg, VA.

He was born in Dendron, VA on September 19, 1939, to the late Wilson and Gertie Mae Clary Sr., he attended school at Luther Porter Jackson (LPJ) Dendron, VA.  He was an active member of Dendron Hunt Club, he is a retired member of Schultz Trucking Company.  He loved truck driving, he was well known on the CB as A.K.A. (Rachet Jaw), he also loved fishing, hunting, motorcycling, gardening, and people.  (He was kind, friendly and never met a stranger).

He was preceded in death by his Father Wilson Clary Sr., his mother Gertie Mae Clary, his three (3) brothers Roosevelt (TC), Solomon (Doe) and Leon (Turkey) and two (2) nephews Calvin Clary(Buck) and Kelvin Clary(KB).

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mrs. Helena Clary, a loving daughter Ms. Brenda Battle of North Prince George, VA; two (2) loving and devoted sons, Wilson Clary III (Toni) of Hopewell, VA and Bravard Williams of Waverly, VA., along with five (5) devoted children that he helped raise, Mary Allen of Spring Grove, VA, John Williams of Roanoke, VA, Patricia Turner of Waverly, VA, Timothy Williams of Spring Grove, VA, Ronald Williams (Cheryl) of Spring Grove, VA.  Two (2) Brothers Raymond Clary of Portsmouth, VA and Calvin Clary (Joyce) of Dendron, VA; four (4) Sisters Bettie Clary of Baltimore, MD, Mary Saunders of Portsmouth, VA, Otelia Clary (Petersburg, VA) and Juanita Clary of Waverly, VA.; eleven (11) Grandchildren Darcell Hill, Jamar Hill, Thomas Ferguson, Ashleigh Battle, Bravard Williams Jr., Olijah Williams, Jokai Scott, Chanelle Rippley,  Jabrea Ricks, Rayshaad Williams and Zimarrion Chamblee, a host of cousins and a multitude of friends.

Funeral Service for Mr. Clary will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Empowerment Temple 219 N. County Dr. Waverly, VA, Elder Terrence Green, Pastor, Rev. Jerry Parham, Eulogist.  Interment will follow at the Church of All Nations, Spring Grove, VA.
