On Monday, September 29, 2014, our beloved Warren Antonio Taylor departed this temporary earthly dwelling. Warren was born September 13, 1962 in Waverly VA. to Warren Jr. and Annie Taylor Jackson. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Warren Sr. and Ruth Jackson; Obey Taylor Sr. and Annie Bell Taylor.

He was known to many as "T.J." or "Tony". Tony received his education in Sussex County and completed a course of study and training thru Job Corp. Even though he had many skills, most of his life was spent in the "helping profession".

Tony leaves to cherish his memory, his father and mother, Warren Jr. and Annie Jackson; a daughter, Christina Ellis, and two children who he accepted as his own, Tashauna Burgess and Chanta Waters; sisters, Justine Turner (Ernest), Anita Jackson, and Jennifer Jones (Roger); aunts, Alice Butts (Richard), Emma Taylor, Blanch Jones, and Vivian Green; uncles, Walter Jackson (Laverne), James Brooks, and James Green; nieces, Kaneka Jackson, Shauna Jones, Shaneka Jackson, and Quaneka Jackson; nephews, Lamorris Greenhill and Roderick Jones.

A celebration of life for Warren A. Taylor will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at the First Baptist Church, 315 Church Street, Waverly VA., the Rev. Ronald C. Taylor, officiate.
