Mr. Walter E. Barrow Sr. beloved father, husband, brother and friend affectionately known as " Erbo" entered into enteral rest on November 24, 2017 in Chester, Virginia with family at his bedside after a short and hard fought battle with cancer. He was born on December 4, 1949 to the late Lee and Pearlie Mae Barrow. He was predeceased by his parents, his devoted companion Jacqueline Denise Bevins, brothers James Lee and Carl N. Barrow; sisters Rose Lee, and Doretha Ricks.

Erbo lived in Waverly, Virginia all his life. For more than 25 years until his health, declined Erbo worked with Jerry D. Rose Inc. as an equipment operator and also formed close friendships and inspired others with his knowledge and work ethic along the way. When not hard at work, Erbo was surrounded with the love and companionship of his family, any chance he could get he enjoyed the company of many dear friends.

Erbo is survived by six devoted children; Sandy Manning Anderson of Macon Georgia, Walter E. Barrow Jr. (Patricia) of Chester, Virginia, Sherrell Bevins of Waverly, Devin Bivens of Waverly VA., Dominique Devreaux of Hopewell, Virginia and Keith Bivens of Midlothian, Virginia; ; three brothers Rudy Jones (Connie) Petersburg, VA. Lee Barrow (Mary) DC, James Barrow (Sarah) Waverly, VA.; sisters Mary Espisto (New York) Linda Jackson (James) Waverly, Caprina Johnson of Prince George; twelve Grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.   A host of nieces, nephews and other family members, and a devoted friend, Wallace Normans.

Public viewing for Mr. Barrow will begin at Noon, Monday, November 27, 2017 at Peace Funeral Home.  Homegoing Service for Mr. Barrow will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Liberty Baptist Church, Waverly, Virginia, Rev. Carl Marshall, Pastor and Rev. Ardie Ellis, Eulogizing.  Interment will follow at Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, Virginia.
