Susie Ann
Williams
December 25, 1958 – January 8, 2018
Susie Ann Williams was born December 25, 1958 in Southampton County, Virginia. She was a graduate of Southampton High School and a long lived native of Southampton County. As the years passed, she became a resident of Waverly, Virginia. Susie was predeceased by her parents: Charlie Wade and Mary Lee Fulgham, one son: Quinton Lamont Fulgham, and two brothers: Kinfrey Fulgham and Charles Fulgham.
Susie was a very funny, loving, and caring person. She enjoyed being around family and friends. It was never a dull moment when she was around. She would always have you laughing and would leave you with a feeling of joy. Family and friends nicknamed her "dunk" and "trust me" due to her great sense of humor. She often brought on much fun and jokes with her favorite quotes like "trust me", "get the gun yo", and "timah, timahhh-sprinkle me baby-sprinkle me baby". Her God given gift was singing hymns. Susie, a mom, sister, aunt, niece, and friend will be sorely missed.
Susie leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Maurice (Christina) Fulgham of Waverly, VA; one daughter, Shonta Williams of Courtland, Virginia; four grandchildren, Deveon Fulgham, Treyvon Fulgham, Amariyana Williams, and A'yanah Williams; three sisters: Mary(Michael) Stringfield of Wakefield, VA, Diane (Jeffery) Johnson of Franklin, VA, Dorothy Fulgham(Danny Barnes); three brothers; James Lee Fulgham of Washington, DC, Clyde Fulgham of Hampton, VA; and Frankie Fulgham of Wakefield, VA; a special friend, Sandy Ruffin, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
