Russell Lamont Neverson (Mont) of Peterburg entered into eternal rest of at  MVC/VCU Hospital on Monday, April 22, 2013. Mont was born to Russell and Doreatha Neverson on September 15, 1979. He graduated from Sussex Central High School in the class of 1997.

Mont will be remembered by hall who knew him for his loving smile and his willingness to help others.

He was preceded in death by his father Russell Neverson, his maternal grandparents Mary and Joseph Gregory, paternal grandparents Lucy and Edward Neverson, uncles Felix and Frank Neverson.

Monet is survived by his mother Doreatha Neverson, of Waverly, sister Carmina Brown (Phillip), nephew Ja'Vonte Brown all of Hopewell; eight aunts, Marian Johnson (Robert), of Waverly; Sheila Arnold (Antonio), Rose Mary Mayes (Jeff), Viola Raines all of Petersburg; Olivia Womack (Frankie) of Prince George; Delois Gregory and Joyce Cole of Dispotanta; Deborah Gilchrist, of Hopewell; four Uncles Earl Neverson (Bettie), Claude Neverson (Ann) of Petersburg; Raymond Neverson (Christina), of Maryland; Hilton Neveron (Sandra) of Dinwiddie; four great-aunts Josephine Gregory, Rosa Lee Mason, Bessie Edwards Lejest Williamson, Sarah Griffin (Ward), great uncle John Brown. A special friend Saundra Giles and a host of cousin and friends.
