On November 30, 2015, our hearts were saddened by the passing of our dear loved one Ray Anthony Williams (Drew Boy), of 29241 Bishop Court, Waverly, VA.

Ray A. Williams was born December 18, 1965 to the late Coratine Williams and the Late Mr. Leroy Oliver Drew of Waverly, VA. Ray loved fishing and riding his bike.

He was raised by his late Grandparents Mrs. Annie G. Williams and Mr. Spencer Williams Sr. of Waverly, VA. Ray graduated from Sussex Central High School in 1984. At an early age he joined Liberty Baptist Church, Waverly, VA, where he served on the Usher Board.
Ray held numerous jobs, Glenn's Automotive Services, Seward Lumber Company, Gray Lumber Company, B.P. Short and Murphy's Lawn Care until a brief illness.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Alonzo Shaw; and numerous Aunts and uncles. Uncles, Spencer Williams Jr., Herbert Drew, and Reginald Drew; Aunts, Elsie Mason, Rosa Drew and Lillie Dennis; Great Aunt, Mattie Wallace.

Left to cherish his memories are daughter, Rayshara A. Barrow; Son, Rayshada Williams; brother, Alfonso Shaw of Waverly, VA; sisters, Angel Williams (very devoted & his caretaker), Linda Gray (Henry), adopted sister, Regina Smith of Hampton, GA; granddaughter, Arari Nicole Shaw of Waverly, VA; aunts, Margaret Vaughan, Janie Johnson (Nathanel) of Waverly, VA, Rosa Lee Goodwyn, Mattie Hughs of Disputana, VA, Marie Williams and Shirley Jackson of Hopewell, VA, Thelma Prince (Willie) of Richmond, VA, Linda Drew of Maryland; uncles, Herman Williams of Waverly, VA, Sylvester Williams of Disputana, VA, Herbert William Drew Jr. (Patricia), Robert Drew (Mary), Andrew Drew (Jenny) and Arthur Drew (Gladys); aunt-in-law, Sally Drew; sister-in-law, Wanda Shaw; Uncle-in-law, Herbert Dennis; three nieces, five nephews, one devoted nephew, Rocky; four great nephews. A host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

God called him Home, It was His Will, But in our hearts, We Love Him Still.

Funeral Service for Mr. Williams will be 1:00 pm Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Lilly of the Valley, 411 Oak Street, Waverly, VA, Bishop Marvin Drew, Pastor, Officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, VA.
