On the morning of January 8, 2022, our hearts were deeply saddened by the passing of our Beloved Brother, Uncle, and Cousin Otis Burgess Jr. affectionately known as "SonnyBoy".

He was born March 18, 1945, in Sussex County to the late Otis Sr. & Ida Burgess.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gladys Jones.  He attend Sussex County Public School and was a devoted member of Lily of the Valley Deliverance Center, Waverly, VA.

He was employed for many years as skilled labor at Preston Harrell Welding in Waverly, VA. Otis enjoyed going to all local churches in the community sharing his peppermint candy with his sisters and brothers in Christ.  Otis enjoyed riding his bike and drinking Pepsi.
