Mattie Rose Parham, of Claremont, Virginia, departed this life on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at VCU Medical Center, Richmond, Virginia. Mattie was born on June 7, 1932 to the late Linwood Parham and Lillie Harris Parham.

She leaves standing on the promises of God, a devoted son, Leon Parham; a very devoted daughter, Deborah Parham, both of

Claremont, VA; one grandson, Cyrus Parham; one great-grandson, Pernell Parham; two great-granddaughters, four cousins, Mattie Wright, Shirley Wright, Carmel Brickham, and Daniel Harris; devoted, Shirley Saunders, Clinton Blizzard, Norman Kelly.
