Linda Defore Urquhart Harris, 67, of Wakefield, Virginia passed away on December 9, 2016. She was born to the late Clarence Urquhart and Mary Boykins Urquhart on April 16, 1949. She retired after 20 years of service as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Linda survived the death of her only daughter, Minster Cheryl W. Gay.

Left to cherish her memory is her only son, James Eveton Harris, Jr. (Antoinette Hyman-Harris) of Suffolk, VA and her former husband of 45 years, James Eveton Harris, Sr. of Ivor, VA; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She also leaves behind two brothers, five sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 1pm at New Branch Baptist Church of Ivor, Virginia. Interment will follow at The Urquhart Family Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be held at Peace Funeral Home Waverly, Virginia Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
