Lewis Lorenzo Bolden, 57, entered into eternal rest on November 28, 2014. He was born May 3, 1957, to the late John Henry and Viola Mae Bolden.
After completing his education is Sussex County Public Schools, Lewis enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he serves as Military Police. He was employed for many years at Van Clef Trucking Company, Waverly, Va., as a Commercial Truck Driver.
He is survived by two sisters, Barbara Hunter (Tom) of Chesterfield, Va., and Elaine Morgan (Wayne) of Petersburg, Va.; one uncle, Melvin Bolden (Jean) of Waverly, Va.; and one brother, John Epps Jr. (Hattie) both deceased.
Lewis leaves a legacy to his wife, Catherine and daughters, LaDonna Bolden (Anthony) of Petersburg, Va., Jessica Bolden-Reddick (Jason) of Franklin, Va., Jalessa Bolden of Petersburg, Va., LaFreda Wilkins of Stony Creek, Va., Kayla Noble of El Paso, Texas, and Dajishia Powel of Gaston, NC. From his daughters, he was blessed with eight perfect grandchildren, Brandon, Jonathan, Asia, Xavier, Elias, Benjamin, Zachary and A'Santi. As well as beloved "for babies," Dixie and Fiyero. He leaves cherished memories to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, devoted friends and co-workers. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him well.
Funeral service for Lewis will be Saturday, December 6, 2014, 12 p.m. at Rose A Sharon Church, Waverly, Va. Interment will follow at Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, Va.
