Mr. Jerome Stith "Duke" 65, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, unexpectedly at his residence at 426 Coppahaunk Road, Waverly, Virginia.  He was born on November 20, 1956, to the late James Sr. and Dorothy Stith.

Jerome attended Sussex County Public Schools.  He was a very outgoing person who loved music and cars.  Jerome's favorite artists were Michael Jackson, Prince, and Al Green.  He was very well known and never met a stranger.  He always offered those in need a place to stay and help when needed if he didn't have it himself.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Sr. and Dorothy Stith, brother James Stith Jr, and son Wilbert White.

Jerome leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Toshiqua Williams(Buddy) and La'Kisha Williams; eleven grandchildren of them three devoted, Ta'Nijah, Ty'Nasia and Ty'Keira Taylor; three sisters, Janis Greene (Frederick), Gloria Sykes (Milton), Loretta Brown (Cliff); six nephews, Mondwell Greene, Jamar Johnson, Cory Greene, Shamar Brown, Christopher Turner, and Marcellous Dennis; three nieces, Jamie Gay (Alonzo), Nickea Coleman, and Kya Brown; devoted cousin, Elaine Eley, special cousins Linda Smith-Johnson, Denise Jones, and Lonnie Gray; devoted friend, Craig Hines; special friends, Angie Williams, Sharetta Jones, Peter Bates, and Donell Winfield; a host of other relatives and friends whom he loved and cared for dearly.

Graveside Celebration of Life will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Waverly, Cemetery, Waverly, Virginia.
