Jerman Rico "Big Jay" Warren our beloved son, brother, and uncle entered eternal rest on August 14, 2022.
He was born October 8, 1988, in Newport News, VA at Riverside Regional Hospital, to Gail and RC Warren. At a younger age, he confessed Christ and joined Lebanon Church, Spring Grove Va. Jerman was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martha Walters, Rassie Warren, Sharlene Warren, two aunts Gloria Lawrence, and Shirley Walters; two uncles Ricky Warren and Jessie Warren.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted girlfriend Tiara Pegram; two sisters Stephanie Warren of Colonial heights VA, and Tephanie Warren of Colonial Heights VA; four aunts Rita Walters of Waverly VA, Paula Alexander of Newport News VA, Annette Anderson ( Emerson) of Baltimore MD, Dorothy Warren of Baltimore MD; six uncles Larry Walters (Edith) of Williamsburg VA, Rassie Laren of Surry VA, Bruce walters of Surry VA, Jerry Delk of Richmond VA, Alan Warren of Baltimore MD, and Bennie Warren Jr of Baltimore MD; one Nephew Tre'ron Doby; five nieces Shakita Watson, Shaquita Watson, Te'asia Anderson, Ny'asia Doby, and Tiana Tucker. Two Godbrothers Derrick "Moo Moo" Walters, Stephon Rawlings, and a host of cousins and friends.
Jerman attended Surry County High School and graduated with the Class of 2008. He was also one of the thirteen basketball players that won the First State Championship for the Surry County Running Cougars.
Later in life, Jerman became employed at Schutz Landscaping in Waverly, VA, and became a supervisor for fourteen years. He was a loyal Cowboys fan and he loved to go fishing. He loved having a good time with his family and friends. He always had a story to tell and made sure you laughed. His favorite words he would say "IT DON'T ADD UP" and "COMON ON MAN" and would laugh. If you knew him it was truly to love him. His memories will live on through everyone that had the opportunity to encounter him. His smile will forever keep our hearts lifted and filled with love and joy.

Public Viewing will be 10:00am - 5:00pm Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Peace Funeral Home, Waverly, Virginia.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00pm Friday, August 26, 2022, at Surry County High School, Surry, VA, Rev. Melvin Lyttle, Eulogist, and Lucretia Underdue, Officiating.
