Hattie King Williams, 73,  of 100 S. Kippat Street, Hopewell, Virginia, departed this life on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Tri-Cities Hospital, Hopewell, Virginia. She was born in Yale, Virginia on April 9, 1951, to the late Percy Lee King Sr. and Nancy Taylor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley Seaborne, and Annie L. Luster, and brothers, Levy King, Roy King, Willie King, Percy King Jr. and Marvin King Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Kerry Williams, Samantha Williams, and Georgette Williams; one son, Travis Williams; five grandchildren, Montrel Williams, Jernisha Stringfield, Alvonta Taylor, Floyd Cain Jr., and Co'real Johnson; three great-granddaughters; two sisters, Pastor Joyce Garnett(Apostle John Garnett) Rosa L. Walker (Bobbie); one brother-in-law, Reggie Sebrell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00pm on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Peace Funeral Home Chapel, 237 Railroad Avenue, Waverly, Virginia, Interment will follow at Waverly Cemetery, Spring Branch Road, Waverly, Virginia.

Public Viewing will be 12:00pm - 5:00pm Friday, December 27, 2024, at Peace Funeral Home.
