It is with the saddest regret that the family of the late Garry Lee Hines, 60 of Waverly, Virginia to announce his sudden death on Friday, April 23, 2021, at Envoy Healthcare Center, Fort Union, Virginia.

Garry was born on May 27, 1960, to the late Billie Hines Jr. and Dorothy Giles Hines.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Clementine Hines, and brother, Randy Lee Hines both of Waverly, Virginia.

Garry attended Sussex Central High School in Sussex, Virginia, and was a cherished brother and loyal friend.

He is survived by his son Rashid Mason of New Jersey; two sisters, Jennie Smith of Waverly, Virginia, and Mary Ann Robertson of Newport News, Virginia; three brothers, Billie (Michelle) Hines of Fayetteville, NC, Craig (Richelle) Hines of Waverly, Virginia and Danny Hines of Waverly, Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
