Mrs. Eunice F. Bailey of Dendron, Virginia entered eternal rest Friday, February 18, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Bailey was born May 18, 1925, to the late Robert K. Felts and Mary Brown Felts in Wakefield, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manfrey "Dickie" Bailey Sr., and daughter, Yvonne Bailey Pierce.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at First Baptist Church, Wakefield, Virginia. After she was married and moved to Dendron, she joined First Baptist Church, Dendron where she served faithfully in many capacities. She was a member of the choir, usher board, and hospitality ministry.

Miss Eunice leaves to cherish her memories, her children Gloria B. Brown (Charles), Manfrey N. Bailey Jr., Elaine B. Wooden (Ricky), a daughter-like niece, Patricia Cook, and former son-in-law John Pierce. She also leaves eight grandchildren; Ondrea Barr, Monique James, Mysohia Crocker-Nelson, Joi Wooden, Ricky D. Wooden, Natarsha Johns, Charlene Brown, and Charles Brown, Jr., six great-grandchildren and a host of loving nieces and nephews. She leaves two special friends, Irene Amlet and Ruby Judkins.

Miss. Eunice as she was affectionately known, could always tell you if you had "gain" or lost weight without hesitation and sincerity. She loved to eat and loved to be called "aunty" she loved her family and friends and when she was told… Love You. Her response "Love You More"

A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 26, 2022, at First Baptist Church, 2550 Rolfe Hwy, Dendron, Virginia, Rev. Michael Thomas Sr., Pastor.

Public view will be 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Friday, February 25, 2022, at Peace Funeral Home, 237 Railroad Avenue, Waverly, Virginia.
