Ms. Diane Jarrett of 2251 Dix Avenue Far Rockaway, New York departed this life on the 19th of January 2022, at her home.  She was born to the late Rosa M. Jarrett and Nathaniel Yates of New York, while she lived in Virginia.  The late Mary A. Jarrett was her guardian and grandmother.

Diane went to Sussex Central High School and worked various jobs while in Virginia.  Diane married George "Skip" Ruffin of Waverly, because of struggles and hard times they separated and Diane relocated to New York.

Diane did not have any children, she leaves to cherish her memories, one brother, Watts (Barbara) Craig of Waverly. VA; two nephews, Hakeem Craig (Kayla) and RaQuan Craig both of Waverly, VA; two great-nieces, Chaniyah Johnson and Harmonie Craig; two great-nephews, Jakari Craig, and Kemontae Craig; two aunts, Mary Jarrett of New York and Hattie Jarrett of Waverly, VA; a host of cousins, and her companion Mr. Larry Mable of New York.

A public viewing for Ms. Jarrett will be 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Friday, February 11, 2022, at Peace Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Peace Funeral Home Chapel.
