Claudette White, 60, was born February 18, 1966, to the late James David and Emma Louise Barrow of Waverly, Virginia. God granted Claudette eternal peace and mercy and called her home Friday, September 18, 2026.

Claudette was known for her strong personality and early-morning calls. Susie said, “Claudette would often reach out early in the morning and help her work through her thoughts, and that always made her feel better.”

She graduated from the Sussex County School System. She lived on both the East and West Coasts of the United States.

Claudette was a member of St. Mark Holiness Church in Dendron, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James David and Emma Louise Barrow; sisters Angela Gray, Linda Perry, and Liddy Barrow.

Claudette leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Darnell Sinclair White, Raheem Shaheed White, and Kendell O. Jimmison; daughter, Sarquitta Darmasha White; and four grandchildren, Jakiden White, Ja’kari White, Jalayah White, and Skyron Semai White; siblings Laura Barrow, Eunice Barrow Jordan (Lem), Melissa Barrow, Rachel Barrow, David Barrow, Tara Barrow, and Dennis Barrow (Shellie); a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins; a special friend, Anthony Brooks; and lifelong friends, Susie Thomas and Angela Person.

Public Viewing will be from 10:00am-5:00pm on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Peace Funeral Home, 237 Railroad Avenue, Waverly, Virginia.

Celebration of Life will be 3:00pm, Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Lily of the Valley Deliverance Center, Waverly, Virginia 23890, Bishop Marvin Drew Sr., Pastor, and Pastor Shirley Ellis of  St. Mark's Holiness Church, Dendron, Virginia, Eulogist.
