On Tuesday, April 15, 2014, God called one of his earthly angels from labor to reward. Mrs. Clarice P. Harris, 75, 427 Bank Street, Waverly Virginia, widow of the late Milton L. Harris, entered into eternal peace at her home. She was a servant of Jesus Christ for the uplifting and the building of the Gospel of God's Kingdom as a member of First Baptist Church in Waverly. She served in many capacities being used by the Master.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by one daughter, Little Miss Regina Harris; one son, Milton L. Harris, Jr. and her parents Edmond and Geraldine Johnson.

She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Harris Williams(Gus) and Tamara Harris Taylor(Victor) both of Richmond, VA; one daughter in law, Paulita Taylor Harris of Waverly, VA; fourteen grandchildren; one God-grandchild; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Willie Johnson of Portsmouth, VA and Leon R. Johnson, Sr.(Mary) of Waverly, VA; one sister, Essie Mae Taylor of Petersburg, VA and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
