Clarence Pernell Fields Sr.'s Obituary
Clarence "Pernell" Fields, Sr., age 74, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2016 in John Randolph Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the widower of the late Lillie Ellis Fields.
He leaves to mourn four children: Angelia Thomas (Donnie), Wadesboro, NC, Kevin Fields (Dee), Richmond, VA, Clarence Fields (Sonya), Hyattsville, MD, Gwendolyn Hughes, Virginia Beach, VA; a special nephew, Anthony Ellis, Tampa, FL; twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.
A wake for Mr. Fields will be held on Friday Oct 7th from 5-7 pm Both the wake at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 6512 Carsley Rd, Waverly, VA (County of Surry).
The funeral will be held on Saturday Oct 8th at 11 am (viewing 10-11 am) at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 6512 Carsley Rd, Waverly, VA (County of Surry), Rev. George Brown will perform the eulogy. The burial will follow at the Fields Family cemetery.
