Carl Maurice Stith known as "Blade" entered eternal life on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at MCV Hospital in Richmond, Virginia surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Sussex County at home on September 26, 1965, to the late Robert Lee Stith and Louise Stith of Wakefield, Virginia. He was the grandson of the late Henry and Rosa Stith.

Carl was a proud graduate of Sussex Central High School, Class of 1983. He worked at Atlantic Waste for 18years until his health started to decline.

Carl was an inspiration to others and always had a positive outlook on life. He had a tremendous love for hunting and fishing before his health declined. He was a dedicated member of Shaketown Riders of Wakefield since 2011, a fan of the Chicago Bears Football Team, and a member of Greentop Hunting Club.

Carl was a loving and devoted husband, father, pop-pop, son, brother, and friend. To cherish his memories he leaves his mother, Louise Stith; loving wife and soulmate of 25 years, Felicia Stith, one daughter, Teshaunne White; four sons, Triston White (Brandi), Tevaris Stith, Tyron Stith, and Tyrese Stith; six grandchildren, Skylar, Carter, Triston Jr. Kaila, Kennedy, and McKenzie; seven siblings, Lorenzo Gay(Juanita), Wayne Gay, Marshall Stith(Joanne), Robert Stith, Tracy Thomas, Tammy Worrell(Eddie), Cheryl Turner(Frankie); one sister-in-law, Carla Randolph(Joe Randolph Jr); one brother-in-law, Bryan White(Nikki); mother-in-law, Willistine White; two uncles, Henry Stith and Richard Gay; nine aunts, Nell Patterson, Gladys Stringfield, Phyllis Ruffin (James), Dorothy Gay, Mary Harris, Valesse Menefield, Marion Rubiano, Dorothy Stith, and Lavern Stith; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.  Three special devoted friends, Marcus Patterson, Eldridge Thornton Jr., and Kima Pretlow; goddaughter, Tiyonda Gilliam of Wakefield, VA.

Public Viewing will be 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Peace Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 pm Friday, January 21, 2022, at Peace Funeral Home, Waverly, Virginia.  Interment will follow at Booker T. Memorial Park, Wakefield, VA.
