On February 3, 2003, God called to His heavenly home our beloved Calvin Roosevelt Ridley at OBIC Memorial Hospital, Suffolk, VA. Calvin was born August 24, 1956 in Southhampton, VA to Florence Ridley and the late Calvin C. Ridley. He was a native of Smithfield, Virginia. Calvin was a devoted member of First Baptist Church. He had a kind spirit and a loving heart, willing to do whatever he could do for anyone.

Calvin was a devoted brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Calvin left a part of him which will be carried on for a lifetime. He will always be in our hearts and never be forgotten. We love you and will miss you always.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his mother Florence Ridley of Wakefield, VA; three sisters, Mary Ridley (Calvin), Wakefield, VA, Frances Ridley (Chris), of Chesapeake, VA, Shirley Chambliss o Newport News, VA; three brothers, John Ridley of Wakefield, VA, Horace Ridley of Petersburg, VA, and Ray Ridley of Petersburg, VA; and a hosts of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Friday, February 7, 2003 at Peace Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at Greater Hill Baptist Church, Sussex, VA
