Brenda Lee Milbourne, 60, entered eternity on June 8, 2020, with her loving family by her bedside at Henrico Doctors' Hospital in Richmond, VA.

It was on May 3, 1960, when Brenda made her precious earthly arrival.  She was born to the late Melvin Arnett Johnson, Sr., and Dorothy Jane Johnson at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, NJ. Brenda was raised in a loving Christian home which significantly cultivated her unwavering walk of faith as a devout disciple of Christ.

In her early years, she attended Egg Harbor Township Elementary Schools and graduated from Absegami High School in Mays Landing, NJ. Brenda went on to advance her education and receive her degree in Accounting. She loved numbers and worked as an Accountant for many years.

Selfless describes Brenda, as she had always wanted to help whoever she could that was in need, even when there were times that she was in need herself.  She was a devoted mother to her three children and a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren.

Brenda loved the Lord, she was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost at an early age and never let go of her faith even in the end. After moving to Richmond, VA to be with her children and grandchildren, she became a proud member of Fresh Wind Outreach Ministries, under the tutelage of Bishop E. Eugene Logan.

She had a life well lived and joy-filled with a sprinkle of hardships and challenges along the way. She triumphantly rose to every challenge through prayer and faith, and now has earned her rest.

Brenda was proceeded in death by her father, Melvin A. Johnson Sr., mother, Dorothy J. Johnson, sisters Jacqueline Oglesby, Sylvia Byrd and Melfrieda Bordley, and brother Melvin Johnson Jr.

She survived by her sons Eric (Ashley) Mayfield of Pleasantville, NJ; Brandon Mayfield-Jackson and Brian Mayfield-Jackson of Richmond VA; grandchildren, Jamiya, Unique, Brandon Jr, and Prince.  Her brothers, Gerald Johnson of Pleasantville, NJ, Ronald (Lily) Johnson, Sr. of Pleasantville, NJ; Joseph (Patricia) Johnson of Newtonville, NJ, and Eugene Johnson of Atlanta, GA. Her sisters, Deborah Stowell of Harrisburg, PA, and Karen (Denzell) Bordley of Felton, DE. Godchildren, Vanita Brooks, Sukina Mackall, Marvin Nicholas, and Geraldine Farrington. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
