Lee Davis
August 8, 1959 – October 12, 2020
On Monday, October 12, 2020, Mr. Bobby Lee Davis affectionately known as "Bobie", "Big Bob", or "Brown" entered eternal rest at his residence 2076 General Mahone Highway, Disputanta, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents Pearly M. Davis and Lorenzo Davis; paternal grandparents, Isabel Penden (Jake).
He dedicated his life to Christ at a young age and was baptized at New Branch Baptist Church, Ivor, Virginia, and later joined Higher Way Ministries, Petersburg, Virginia under Bishop Darren L. Gay Sr.
He was employed at Tube City in Dinwiddie, Virginia for years until his health declined. He was a jack of all trades from carpentry to automobiles (he would fix anything). His favorite football team was them "Dallas Cowboys". In past times he and his grandson De would enjoy various car shows showing off his very own Monte Carlo and Chevy Truck with Sussex Cruisers Car Club., fishing, putting in floors all around helping everyone else.
He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Shirley Winfield Davis; sons, Jontae Parham of North Chesterfield, VA and Michael Winfield of North Dinwiddie, VA; daughters, Makeshia Winfield of South Chesterfield, VA and Ja'Toya Winfield of North Dinwiddie, VA; sisters, Bessie Givens of Waverly, VA, Betty Ann Davis, Rose Seaborne and Tammy Davis all of Wakefield, VA; brother-in-law, Jesse Winfield (Cheryl) of Waverly, VA; sisters-in-law, Barbara Claiborne (Robert) of Waverly, VA and Margarita Winfield of Tennessee; aunts, one devoted Josephine Spratley of Ivor, VA, Mary Drew (Robert), Maggie Stewart both of Spring Grove, VA; uncle, Daniel Burt; one devoted grandson, DeMarion Winfield; granddaughter, Jakyiah McClendon of South Chesterfield, VA; nephews, Sancho Davis of Wakefield, VA, Frankie Davis of Williamsburg, VA and Semaji Seaborne of Dallas, TX; nieces, Carletta Daniel (Richard),Sherita Givens both of Norfolk, VA and Tysheka Davis of Wakefield, VA; special great niece, Tyonna Davis of Wakefield, VA; and a host of relatives and friends, devoted Larry Jones, Pastor Bobby Ricks, Jauron Delk and Ernest Jones.
