Bernadette Smith was born September 1, 1961. God called his angel to Glory on August 12, 2017 at the age of 55.

She was predeceased by her mother Catherine Smith, father Leonard Smith and sister Maricha Clanton.
Bernadette accepted the Lord at an early age at Mars Hills A.M.E. Zion church. She was a graduate of Sussex Central High School in 1979.

Bernadette enjoyed working as a Private Duty Nurse until her illness.

She leaves to cherish her memories her sister Joan Riddick; two special sisters, Juanita Collins (Linwood), Sharon Littleton; two brothers. Leonardo Smith (Andrea) and Ian Smith (Cortina); one son James B Cameron, C.J. (Cameron J. Cameron whom she raised from birth); a long-life partner James E. Cameron; a God-child, Sharnese Mason; two uncles, Melvin Gayle and Paul Ellis (Angela); and a host of nieces, nephews, family. friends and caring cousins.

Bernadette commitment was her Love for God; a caring and nurturing spirit and a love for her family. We will miss her special "Selfies" and macaroni and cheese for our boys.
