On August 21, 2021, our hearts were saddened by the passing of our dear love one Alfonzo Shaw "Twin" of 126 Lobb Shop Road, Waverly, Virginia.

Alfonso was born November 20, 1966, to the late Coratine Williams and the late Alge Shaw. Alfonso loved his family, he was raised by his grandparents Mrs. Annie G. Williams and Mr. Spencer Williams Sr. of Waverly, Virginia.

Alfonso graduated from Sussex Central High School in 1985.  At an early age joined Liberty Baptist Church, Waverly, Virginia where he served on the Usher Board. Alfonso had numerous jobs, Hardees, Murphys Lawn Care, and Richard Norris until a brief illness.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Ray Williams and Alonso Shaw; uncles, Spencer Williams Jr, Sylvester Williams, and Horrace Shaw; aunts Elsie Mason and Lillie Dennis; great-aunt, Nellie Blanche Wallace.

Alfonso leaves to cherish his memories his children, Latoria Jones of Waverly, Alfonso Shaw Jr, of Petersburg, and Tasha Jones (Denise Warren); grandchildren, Jaequan Jones, Jaemarion Jones, Malcolm Bivens, Sincere Brown, Aleah Shaw, Kash Redd-Shaw, Messiah Brown and Khloe Jones; niece, RayShara Barrow; nephews, Alonzo Shaw Jr, Rayshada Williams, Robert Williams, DeAnte Williams, and DeVante Williams; great-nieces, Ahari Nicole Shaw, Alanah Dior Shaw, and Journey Morgan; great-nephews, Bryson, Isaiah Williams and Isaac Williams; six devoted aunts, Margaret Vaughan of Waverly, and Rose Lee Goodwyn and Mattie Hughes of Disputanta, Marie Williams of Hopewell, Janice Johnson of Waverly and Cherlie Jackson of Hopewell; devoted uncle, Herman Williams of Waverly; uncle-in-law, Herbert Dennis; devoted sister, Angela Williams; devoted nephews, Rocky, Buddy, and Eyes; devoted cousin, Cheryl Williams, devoted friends Barbara Beckett, Walter Wilkins and Richard Norris.

Public Viewing will be 11:00 am Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Peace Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life will be 3:00 pm Thursday, August 9, 2021, at Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, VA, Bishop Marvin Drew, Pastor, and Eulogist.
