Alberta Mason Brown's Obituary
On Thursday, June 12, 2014, God sent one of his angels on a special mission to bring home for eternal life, our beloved mother, Alberta Mason Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her sister, Leslie Mae Colbert; seven children, Dorothy Mason, David Brown (Felicia), Carolyn Perry (Phillip), Michael Brown (Katrina), Patricia Cooper, Sandra Robertson (Lionel) and Deborah Hinson (Bobbie); 17 grandchildren; 23 great- grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; an extended Brown family; one devoted friend, Blanche Jones and a host of other relatives.
Funeral Services for Ms. Brown will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Waverly, VA, Rev. Ronald Taylor, Pastor. Interment will follow in Waverly Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 419 Oak street, Waverly, VA.
